01

What pupils study in Business

Knowledge · dialogue · feedback · mastery

The course develops how organisations make decisions about people, finance, operations and markets. The current Pearson specification, entry route and assessment arrangements govern each cohort and are confirmed by the school.

  • Business activity and influences

  • People and organisational decisions

  • Marketing and operations

  • Finance, growth and global business

02

How Live Teaching Supports Progress

Teachers explain ideas, question pupils and respond to misconceptions in real time. Guided practice, independent work and feedback make the next step visible before gaps become established.

03

Assessment and Examination Preparation

Pupils learn the knowledge and skills defined by the current specification, practise applying them to unfamiliar material and prepare for formal Pearson Edexcel assessment. The school confirms the relevant papers, examination series and entry arrangements.

04

Progression After International GCSE

Subject choices are considered as a complete programme. Results, interests and later university or career intentions inform the move into International A Levels or another suitable post-16 route.

05

Is Business the right choice?

Clear written judgement, confident numeracy and interest in real organisations support success. Final option combinations depend on the current timetable, sufficient demand and the academic team’s confirmation.
