The course develops practical communication and cultural understanding through listening, speaking, reading and writing. The current Pearson specification, entry route and assessment arrangements govern each cohort and are confirmed by the school.

Subject choices are considered as a complete programme. Results, interests and later university or career intentions inform the move into International A Levels or another suitable post-16 route.
